Salma Hayek has shared her experiences of the abuse at the hands of Harvey Weinstein. The list is disgusting, and I hope he gets hit by a bus.

Just saying.

Writing in the New York Times she said that Weinstein once told her ‘I will kill you, don’t think I can’t.’

Holly Baird, Weinstein’s spokeswoman, disputed the account.

Dozens of actresses have accused the former producer of harassment and assault. Once case even involving a potted plant. The accusations have begun a wave of allegations against other men in Hollywood, also prompting apologies from actors who have acted like tools in the past. Ben Affleck is one of those men.

Weinstein still denies these allegations, despite his wife leaving him, being dropped by the Oscars, most other awards and his own company. He was voted out by a majority a few months ago.

Hayek, 51 (what the hell? Since when was Salma Hayek 51!?), described working with the alleged sex offender, on what she called her ‘greatest ambition’. She told the story of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, in her movie Frida in 2002. Weinstein, unfortunately, made that ambition a living hell. She recounts what happened during the production.

The Oscar-nominated actress repeatedly refused sexual advances from the mogul, including taking a shower with him, letting him give her a message and getting naked with another woman.

hayek went on to accuse him of threatening to shut the movie down unless she filmed a nude scene with another actress.

She said in the article:

‘I had to take a tranquillizer, which eventually stopped the crying but made the vomiting worse,” she wrote of her emotional turmoil at filming a scene she thought unnecessary.

‘As you can imagine, this was not sexy, but it was the only way I could get through the scene.’

Weinstein’s spokeswoman stated that Weinstein did not recall pressuring anyone into a gratuitous sex scene. He still denies any kind of accusation of rape, sexual assault or harassment.
