Been a while since we’ve had a good laugh at something dumb and light, you know? Just a bit of light-hearted humour to lessen the impact of current events.

So, Ronaldo has recently had a statue to commemorate the fact that he exists; apparently he’s a footballer or something. We non-sports fans are perplexed. It’s great and all, being recognised for your achievements… but something seems off about it.

I have no words.

To be fair to the guy who did it, he commented on it saying:

“It’s impossible to please both the Greeks and the Trojans.

“It’s a matter of taste, it’s not as simple as it sounds.

“I have seen works of other renowned artists go through similar experiences.”

So fair enough, we suppose. Even if it does look a bit bonked.
