It’s been a rather trying week or so for British football. With the Sam Allardyce sting, seeing him out of a job just 67 days after becoming manager, we can still pull together in absolutely decimating old rivals.

England’s under-17 squad slammed Germany’s with a final score of 8-1, in what seems to be a winning streak, after beating Croatia (5 NIL) and Greece (3 NIL). Steve Cooper’s team have totalled 16 goals scored this season.

Angel Gomes, from Manchester United, sent the ball into the net just four minutes in, followed by a further six goals from different players.

Germany’s Luca Schlax managed to get a single goal in the 12th minute, but they were soon wrecked by the young Brits.

The teams had to relocate to a local ground, after Aldo Drosina Stadium was deemed unplayable after torrential rainfall.

The Young Lions will play Romania, Austria and Azerbaijan in the European Champion qualifiers.

Good luck, boys!

And the Young Lions sounds like a house in Game of Thrones. Seriously.
