Steam Sales Coming Soon

Prepare your wallets.

Steam’s annual winter sale will be coming on December 22nd, according to a report released by NeoGAF, which has been separately confirmed by Eurogamer. The sale period will run into the New Year, and will close on January 2nd.

Last year, there were literally thousands of items slashed to up to 90% off, and there were winter sale-themed cards, for those into Steam’s trading card system. It’s a good time to get some games that you couldn’t afford in the year. Things like franchise packs and DLC packs are often the biggest things to look out for.

Since it hasn’t been officially announced yet, there are no words on specific offers.

In other news, it was found that 38% of all games that appear on Steam are from 2016 alone. The information was discovered by SteamSpy, and shows that games continue to be released on the PC platform at an alarming rate to say the least.

Although to call some of the titles games is a stretch.
