You’d better hold in your bathroom breaks because Infinity War is going to be one long movie. According to AMC Theatres, Avengers: Infinity War is going to be the longest Marvel movie yet, by about 10 minutes.

The film clocks in at 2 hours and 36 minutes, topping the runtime of Captain America: Civil War by 9 minutes. There’s a lot to tackle in this next film, so we totally get the long run time. Stories must end and all the characters that have already been established need to get screen time.

The movie will star essentially everyone who has had a place in a Marvel movie so far, from Doctor Strange to Spider-Man. The film will also very likely set up the plot for Avengers 4.

Marvel movies aren’t exactly known for their short runtimes. The shortest being 2008’s Incredible Hulk, which was 1 hour and 52 minutes. It is technically the first movie in the franchise, with the first Iron Man movie coming out a year later.

Most marvel movie stretch past the two-hour mark.

Avengers: Infinity War arrives on 27th April. This is the pay off for the 10 years of movies and character building. We were sceptical about the first movie, having to accommodate for so many actors. However, our hopes are high for this one.

In short:
