People are really stupid. People are so ridiculously stupid it hurts sometimes.

As you may have heard, there was a big deal made about the eclipse in the US on Monday. This is the first eclipse since 1979 in the US, where they predicted this eclipse all those years ago.

It’s a little sad given the speech the newscaster does is primarily focused on being hopeful for the future, saying he ‘may the shadow of the eclipse fall over a world of peace’. Which is a bit unfortunate considering the world is basically on the brink of collapse.

Anyway, back to my previous point, Nasa warned literally every single American to not look at the eclipse without protective eyewear. So, you know what people did? Let’s turn to our dear POTUS for an answer to that.

Honestly? I despair.

But, in light of this, let’s look at some other photos from around the US on that fateful day. Okay, some of these photos are pretty neat.

And possibly the best photo:

The next total solar eclipse will happen on April 8th, 2024 for the USA and the next eclipse we in the UK will have, is on Saturday 11th August 2018.

See you then. Maybe, if we haven’t all been annihilated in a nuclear war by that point.
