Everyone has that one family member who hates sweets, soaps, TV, movies, sports and possibly life in general. It often feels impossible to buy something for these people for birthdays and Christmas and the stress of finding the perfect gift is too much to handle. We’ve compiled a list of the best gifts for people who don’t like anything.

Vouchers – You really can’t go wrong with a good voucher, especially when it’s for a number of shops and not just one. Love 2 Shop vouchers can be used in a range of stores, including Boots, River Island, HMV and Halfords, so the chance of the recipient being unable to use them is slim.

Alternative Christmas presents – For somebody who doesn’t want or need anything, the perfect gift (or for some, the perfect revenge) is one of those presents that aids someone else. Alternative gifts are things such as 100 trees planted in your name or a goat for a disadvantaged family in a third world country.

Stuff for their pets – Buy a new lead for their dog, some toys for their cat or a nice aquarium plant. At least someone can benefit from your time and effort.

Practical household goods – Pans, plates and garden tools. You can’t go wrong with something that they probably would end up buying themselves anyway. No one can argue with a good wok.

Technology – We could all benefit from portable phone chargers, memory sticks and headphone dividers. Nobody is going to turn their nose up at a 10 metre iPhone charger.
