It’s been a bad week for game delays. Metro Exodus, Ubisoft’s next big title, and Shenmue 3 have all been pushed to a 2019 release window. Plus, a Black Ops 4 trailer and the Rage 2 reveal. So…wooo?

Developer 4A games released a tweet regarding the delay for the upcoming Metro Exodus. The title was supposed to be released later this year but is now coming Q1 2019. This works out from January to March. It was revealed last year at E3 that this will be a continuation of Artyom’s story.

The Metro games are inspired by the works of Dmitry Glukhovsky and were really fun. Set in post-apocalyptic Moscow, you play as Artyom as he tries to survive in the subways of a ruined city. Looks like we’ll just have to play the Redux until it’s released.

Next, we got the Black Ops 4 reveal. Which…erm…is definitely a video game?

Onto Ubisoft, their ambitious pirate game Skull and Bones won’t launch on time either. It is now scheduled for 2019-2020, between March and April.

‘Ubisoft has decided to give itself more time to develop Skull & Bones to offer players an even more engaging experience.’

In a nutshell, it looked like Sea of Thieves but with content. Short and simple. The studio developing the game, Ubisoft Singapore, have helped out with a bunch of other titles like the Assassin’s Creed series, specifically the naval combat in Black Flag.

And lastly the Rage 2 trailer, which looks pretty dope actually. It will be a collaborative effort between the folks behind the Mad Max game and the previous Rage.

Are you excited for the next Black Ops? If so, are you okay? Do you need help?
