After the ticket website received more than six million views, making it hard for individuals to purchase a ticket for the new Banksy show, hundreds of people queued for ‘on the door’ tickets. Many queued overnight to make sure they get their hands on a ticket. The tickets were going for £3 each and it took four hours to get to the front of the queue. By 10:00 there was an astonishing 2,000 people queuing outside Dismaland.

Locals who live near the show, based in Weston-Super-Mare, were entitled to free tickets to see the show on the Friday.

The site has a capacity of 2,000 forcing the organisers to put in place the ‘one in one out’ procedure.

General tickets will be going back on sale on Tuesday and will be available to purchase online.
