Total War Warhammer: DLC Released

Once more unto the breach, it would seem.
After the rather positive reception of Total War Warhammer, SEGA has announced its first DLC of the year, Blood for the Blood God.
It looks intense.
Given the game’s now rather gory outlook, it would appear that the PEGI rating has been raised from 16+ to 18+.
The game was very well received last month, as a return to the standard that Total War games had once been at. Set in the Warhammer universe, before the world cracks in two, the armies of the world are in all-out war, clambering to be on top.
The DLC looks to be a helluva lot darker in terms of tone and gameplay, given the trolls ripping heads off and the giant skeletal dragon.
This will be the game’s first expansion, with a few more to come according to SEGA.
Their official press release reads:
“Cower as giants chew the heads of hapless soldiers, trolls rip their foes limb from lifeless limb, and the scything tails of dragons tear through units in an explosion of blood and guts.”
“Brand new campaign events serve to encourage slaughter across the world, all to the laughter and delight of The Blood God. Dedicate your wars to him, and bathe the world in crimson.”
The DLC is available now, rather cheap, for £1.99 on Steam.
Happy hunting!
