A new line of postage stamps has launched today featuring some of our favourite toys from over the years. The ten colourful stamps which celebrate the likes of Sindy, Action Man, Spirograph and Stickle Bricks are on sale at 7,000 post offices in the UK. Speaking on the stamps which pay homage to British toys Royal Mail spokesman Philip Parker said: “British toymakers enjoyed a reputation for quality and innovation.

“These nostalgic stamps celebrate 10 wonderful toys that have endured through the decades.”

Other favourite special editions include the David Bowie collection, the Star Wars 40th Birthday collection and the Mr Men and Little Miss collection.
