Unconventional Comes to Mind

Deadpool was the runaway hit of 2016. A gory, sweary, wonderfully directed movie featuring the Merc with a Mouth. The advertisements were also as gory, sweary and wonderful. The next movie, however, Deadpool 2 is due out next year and we’ve already had one or two weird marketing campaigns. From a happy families magazine cover to a trippy painting session, he’s now encouraging fans to get a Brazilian tattoo in this new promo.

He uses his um, best Portuguese to ask fans to choose a design for next years Brazilian Comic-Con.

Whoever is behind the marketing here? Give them a raise please.

Deadpool 2 will hit cinemas next May and will star much of the original film’s cast, including, Ryan Reynolds, TJ Miller, Morena Baccarin and Brianna Hildebrand with newcomers Josh Brolin as Cable and Zazie Beetz as little-known mutant Domino.

We can’t wait.
