#YEAR13PROBLEMS

Time pressure

Hello and welcome to what is perhaps the most ironic #YEAR13PROBLEMS column I’ve ever written.

This column is written (usually) on a Monday. It’s now Sunday, and it’s basically a week late. So I thought: what better thing to talk about than time pressure?

Welcome to the irony.

In all seriousness, though, there is something to be discussed here when it comes to time pressure. Usually, I’m great with it and can manage it no problem. However, Year 13 happened alongside the need to earn money, and that’s where everyone struggles I think. It’s all about getting a balance between the dollar and the grades.

So, after the stark realisation that it’s impossible to juggle the world for the next month or so, I’m being proactive and sorting out the time pressure and management before it’s too late. You should too.

Remember that it’s all about balance. I’m not saying quit your job and write ten essays instead. I’m saying cut down on the hours for a month and take some time to not screw up the most important exams of your life. If that means sacrificing a sesh, who cares?

The way I see it is like this: you’d regret not achieving your life goals more than you would not going to Digi Monday one time.

It’s all about perspective. Oh – and balance too…
