To all women, men, children and robots.
Mr. David Cameron, our dear Prime Minister, just stooped to year 9 jokes to insult Labour candidate Jeremy Corbyn.
This was in response to Corbyn as he was talking about his meeting with an NHS chief in Oxfordshire, at which point an unnamed MP shouted “Ask yer mother”. This would obviously be in reference to Mary Cameron, little Davey’s mother, signing a petition against cuts to children’s centres.
It was at this point that Cameron flipped the comment onto Corbyn:
‘I know what his mother would say, she’d say ‘put on a proper suit, do up his tie and sing the national anthem,’
To which Corbyn replied, with the skill of a clued up headmaster:
“My late mother would have told me to stand up for the NHS because she dedicated her life to it.”
Then his Twitter had a follow up jab:
Lit as heck.
