We’ve been treated to another Avengers Infinity War trailer, featuring the new release date April 27th. The movie will see every single hero from the Marvel Cinematic Universe team up to take down the biggest bad, Thanos.
The trailer gives another look at the scale of the film. Battles between Thanos’ armies and the heroes promise some insane action, along with some alternate versions of our heroes. Cap has a beard, Black Widow went white blonde and Spider-Man got an upgrade.
It begins with Stark speaking to Gamora, played by Zoe Saldana, about Thanos and how he’s essentially coming to wreck Earth’s whole thing, looking for the infinity stones. These stones have laid the foundation for essentially every major Marvel title.
In traditional Marvel style, we have plenty of humour too. In particular, Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) looks to have a prickly relationship with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr). It looks insane. You have huge set pieces, first meetings and a boatload of actors.
The cast will feature Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo and Tom Holland.
It’s going to be a hell of a show.
