Football’s Coming Home?

After waiting a long four years, the World Cup is finally going to be back on our screens tonight, hosted in Brazil. It will all kick off with the host country playing against Croatia – and excitement has been brewing for days! The England flags have been seen all of the country, hanging from windows, on t-shirts and even waving from the side of cars. Although many doubt the success of 1966 will return, some are still hopeful and refuse to give up on the dreams of it happening once again. Instead, the likely winners have been said to be between Argentina and Brazil. Well, you will only find out if you watch!

The first game of the tournament kicks off tonight with live coverage on BBC1 at 9 pm.
