A Step too Far?

Amanda Bynes’ mental state has been questioned for quite some time and she never fails to make our jaws drop even further.

This time, the Hairspray actress has really caused angst amongst her family. She tweeted yesterday that her father, Rick Bynes sexually abused her. Her mother immediately set the record straight, releasing a statement that told that he has always been a loving husband and father. She then proceeded to tell us that Amanda’s tweets “stem from her mental state”. The now deleted tweets were as follows:

“My dad was verbally and physically abuse to me as a child,”

“He called me ugly as a child and then asked me if I wanted to have sex with him and I did not know how to respond and I said no and then I was forced to live with my dad which was a total nightmare”

“My dad fondled himself in front of me so many times that I started recording him on my phone in hopes of catching him saying or doing something inappropriate around me so I could get him arrested and put in jail for the rest of his perverted life”

“My mom knows that my father’s literally and physically incestual towards his own daughter and the fact that she never called the police on him embarrasses me to no end. So, today I am meeting with a lawyer to get a restraining order against my dad” The Bynes family were deeply shocked and “saddened” by her false accusations and Amanda is now being held in a physiatric ward.

We at B**p have a deep sympathy for her family but also hope that Amanda’s mental health improves and that she will get well soon.
