Adele: The UK’s richest female musician

At the beginning of 2016, Adele picked up four Brit awards: Brits global success award, best single for ‘Hello’, best female solo artist and British album of the year for 25– her first album since the release of her Grammy winning album 21 album back in 2011.

The singer has also been placed top of the Young Music Rich list for the fifth year running- covering artists aged 30 years and under.

Since the release of her latest 25 album, in November 2015, the album has been sold over 15 million copies, putting her in 30th place, with a fortune of £85 million, on the Sunday Times Rich list. Adele is tops artists such as Gary Barlow, Sir Cliff Richard and Kylie Minogue.
