Animal Crossing Coming to Phones

Nintendo, after having released plans for their next console, has also revealed one of the first games they are adapting for a mobile platform.
The company plans to release Animal Crossing along with Fire Emblem to mobile users in the near future. Understandably, many people have put to rest any concept of a social life for after it’s released.

In Animal Crossing, players take on the role of mayor of a town, which you can name yourself (let’s not discuss what mine was called. It rhymed with ‘hitsville’).
You are then in charge of keeping the residents happy, with tasks like planting, collecting items, fishing, and socialising. No information has been given thus far as to how the game will work on mobile, however.
But, most of the time, you either keep playing or you forget about your town and come back to this:
Nintendo said that the mobile version would be “connected with the world of Animal Crossing for dedicated gaming systems.”
The game is often noted for its addictive qualities, with users ensuring the elephant next door is happy with his new sofa, and ensuring Ms. Porcupine has enough apples.
