Annie Mac Bids Farewell

After almost two decades at Radio One, acclaimed DJ and music extraordinaire Annie Mac announced her departure this week. The Northern Irish Mac took over the infamous evening drive-time spot from Zane Lowe six years ago. She has throughout her career launched the presence of some of today’s top stars.

With an illustrious deejaying career to her credit beyond the confines of Radio One, Mac will maintain relevance in the music world on the club/festival circuit. Artists like Chase and Status and Chvrches took to social media to thank Annie. Her support for artists and music in general, over the years, is hard to ignore.
