Geordie duo Ant and Dec never seem to be off our screens. From ‘I’m A Celebrity’ to ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and even a documentary on the Prince of Wales, they will be back again to host the coverage of the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations at Windsor Castle in the upcoming months. In fact, the pair were chosen after the Royal Family deemed the documentary to be a great success – well done, lads!

The event will tell the story of Queen Elizabeth’s life, a journey consisting of many ups and downs, through the Second World War to her Diamond Jubilee celebrations and everything else in between. This truly will be a wonderful event, with a huge array of performers and speakers.

Ant and Dec commented on the event, stating:

‘We are honoured to be hosting this special celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th Birthday. This spectacular evening will bring together some of the best known names in the entertainment world who will perform with 900 horses and 1500 participants to mark this very special birthday.’

Alongside this, celebrations will include a street party for up to 10,000 people and a two-hour programme on the Queen’s life and reign. Members of the Royal Family have even been interviewed for the programme, ensuring that this will be a particularly interesting watch.
