Apple Sales Soar

4 December 2014

Apple made the right decision to release the iPhone 6 in September, as the technology company has had a 10.4 per cent rise in sales. Four in every ten smartphones sold in the UK are made by Apple, making it the biggest market share yet according to analyst house Kantar Worldpanel ComTech.

With the iPhone 6 having a larger screen, 4G capability and a new sleek design, it’s no wonder there was a high demand. Apple have been keen to fight off competition such as Samsung and HTC as they were making devices with technology in which Apple lacked.

Android users will be glad to hear that android still takes the lead in Europe with sales at 69.4 per cent with Apple taking second place with a 20.7 per cent share of the smartphone market.
