Best Things to Do This Summer

For all Year 13 students, this summer is a summer of freedom. It’s super long and super final – it’s going to be the last summer you’ll have with all of your school mates before uni and life sets in forever. So, here’s our list of the best things to do this summer to make it memorable.

  1. Travel

It’s not too late to book a mini-break with your best friends to Spain or somewhere warm. You could get a cheap last-minute deal with the girls, or book a train to London for a few days. Just make sure that this summer you get to travel with your friends.

  1. Go to the beach

If you can’t travel to Spain, travel to the beach with your friends. Pick a hot and sunny day and relax on the beach with a Pound Shop disposable BBQ and some tunes. It’ll be a day you’ll remember for the rest of your life, especially if you stay until sunset.

  1. Make mocktails/cocktails

Depending on your preference, you should take the time this summer to learn how to make mocktails or cocktails and have a few of them. It’s about time you treated yourself after the genuine horror of exams!

  1. Print off photos from school days

Now is the best time to pull yourself together photo-wise. Print off your favourite photos from school and either put them in a box or take them to uni with you. If you do this now, you’ll have them for the rest of your life to look back on and you won’t regret it.

  1. Express yourself

Before exams came and hit us across the face, we used to have hobbies and stuff. Remember that? Some of us used to dance, some of us used to swim. Some used to write creatively, read and play guitar. Some used to practice photography or go birdwatching or fishing or rock climbing. Whatever you used to do, go out and do it this summer.

Happy summer! Go and enjoy it.
