Birthday Snub For Toure

Yaya Toure’s Manchester City future is in doubt after agreeing with his agent, that the multi-million pound owners of the football club showed him a lack of respect on his 31st birthday after only receiving a birthday cake. Toure’s birthday was on the 13th May and he celebrated it with his team mates as they jetted to Abu Dhabi for a regular club meeting, as the club was bought by the Abu Dhabi United Group back in 2008.

The Manchester City players’ agent, Dimitri Seluk, told BBC Sport that Toure was ‘very upset’  on the day and could possibly leave the club as the club haven’t shown him respect. They bought Toure a cake and let him sing a song but this obviously wasn’t enough for the player. His agent also went on to say ‘None of them shook his hand on his birthday. It’s really sick’.

Although Toure’s agent said ‘I don’t expect city to present Yaya with a Bugatti’, people may think he’s telling a little white lie. Awww bless him and his huge bank balance.
