Simply to save time, we’re going to have a look at the biggest stuff from Blizz-Con 2017 right here.

Right, let’s get stuck in at the deep end with World of Warcraft. The massively multiplayer online (MMO) game is getting a new expansion. This is the seventh expansion the game will have received in over 10 years, titled Battle for Azeroth. I don’t play WoW, but this expansion is said to be a bit friendlier to newer players, which is something the game has struggled with. Here’s the trailer:

Now Overwatch, Blizzard’s newest baby, is getting a new character, named Moira, a DPS Healer hybrid. Plus, a new short for the game involving everyone’s favourite armoured boy Reinhardt. Moira will have connections to Reaper, another DPS hero. One will leave you hyped, the other might make you sad.

Next, we have Heroes of the Storm, a game I’ve been playing recently, which is getting a few new characters, including Overwatch’s own Hanzo, and Warcraft’s Alexstrasza. There will also be a few changes to certain maps and game modes.

And lastly, StarCraft II is going free to play very soon, beginning this month players will be able to play through the single-player campaign and co-op modes for free.

A good year for BlizzCon it seems.
