Across the North East, Bonfire Night celebrations have already begun, but it’s certainly not over yet! If you want to see some fantastic firework displays this weekend, here are some of the best.

Saturday, November 4

Saltwell Park Fireworks – £3 – Sponsored by Intu Metrocentre, this firework display is set to be a good one. With live music from some of the North East’s best, emerging talent, and a children’s fairground, this is a great family event.

Newcastle Gosforth Round Table Fireworks Display – £4 adults, £2 children, under 5s go free – What makes this firework display even more special is that all profits go to charities in the local area! A fab fundraiser.

Tynemouth Fireworks – £5 adult, £2 child – This event has it all; a DJ, a wine and prosecco trailer, fairground rides, a raffle, and so much more! Plus, a firework display that lasts 15-20 minutes!

Sunday, November 5

The Links Firework Display – Free – Guests can enjoy fairground rides as well as some delicious food and drink, and a fantastic firework display at 7pm!

South Shields Firework Display – Free – Not only do you have the opportunity to see two amazing displays (one at 6:30 pm, one at 8 pm), but there’s also plenty more to do along the seafront. Ocean Beach Pleasure Park will be open until 10pm, food and drink will be served all evening, and you could even have a game of mini golf!

Monday, November 6

Bonfire Night at Beamish Hall – £5 per car/£5 per person – As the bonfire is lit, and the fireworks begin, you can enjoy the sound of an authentic samba band while snacking on plenty of treats provided amongst the stalls. What more could you want?

How will you be celebrating this Bonfire Night?
