Merry Thursday and welcome back to Charts and That. God of War, A Quiet Place and surprisingly not Drake are all at the top this week. Let’s take a look, shall we?

We’ll start with games this week, where Sony’s God of War has been slaying the games list. Met with fantastic reviews, this reboot is exactly what the studio needed to prove to the world that Kratos is still to be feared. Even if he’s mellowed out a wee bit. Have a look:

  1. God of War
  2. Far Cry 5
  3. Yakuza 6: The Song of Life
  4. FIFA 18
  5. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  6. Super Mario Odyssey
  7. Fallout 4
  8. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
  9. Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  10. GTA V

Next, we’re looking through the movies that came out this week, with the Rampage still raking it in as we await the arrival of Infinity War on Friday, which is likely to make all the money ever made ever. A Quiet Place has also been coasting along quite nicely as this years break out horror hit. The full list is as follows.

  1. Rampage
  2. A Quiet Place
  3. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society
  4. Ready Player One
  5. Peter Rabbit
  6. Truth or Dare
  7. The Greatest Showman
  8. Love, Simon
  9. Black Panther
  10. Blade Runner: The Final Cut

Lastly, we have some music, where Nice for What has been bumped down to second place, being overshadowed by Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa’s One Kiss. But, in light of recent events we’ve decided instead to play this absolute anthem from the recently departed Avicii. Just cause. Here’s the list.

  1. One Kiss – Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa
  2. Nice For What – Drake
  3. Freaky Friday – Lil Dicky Ft. Chris Brown
  4. Paradise – George Ezra
  5. These Days – Rudimental/Glynne/Macklemore
  6. Friends – Marshmello & Anne-Marie
  7. Lullaby – Sigala & Paloma Faith
  8. Feel it Still – Portugal the Man
  9. Psycho – Post Malone Ft. Ty Dolla Sign
  10. This is Me – Settle/The Greatest Showman

And there we have it. Tune in next week for all your chart-covered needs.
