IT moves down from the top spot in the box office charts to make way for Kingsman and Destiny 2 is still sitting pretty at the top of the games list and Sam Smith has made it to number one with his newest record Too Good at Goodbyes. Have a look-see why don’t you?

Let’s start with music this week.

Next, we’re looking at box office numbers. While It may be second, it’s still raked in $30 million this weekend. Kingsman is apparently not as good as the first, with only a 50% on Rotten Tomatoes, with a number of critics saying it lacked humour and the plot was all over the place. Here are the numbers:

  1. Kingsman: The Golden Circle — $39 million
  2. It — $30 million
  3. The Lego Ninjago Movie — $21.2 million
  4. American Assassin — $6.3 million
  5. Home Again — $3.3 million
  6. mother! — $3.3 million
  7. Friend Request — $2.4 million
  8. The Hitman’s Bodyguard — $1.9 million
  9. Stronger — $1.7 million
  10. Wind River — $1.3 million

Finally, games. Destiny 2 is still sitting pretty atop the pile followed by two sports titles. NBA 2K18 and PES 2018, are in second and third. NBA 2K18 recently caught some flak, after 2K Games issued a takedown of a review published by The Sixth Axis, giving it a well-deserved 3/10, hammering home the point that microtransactions ruined the game’s pacing and overall feel.
