Christmas Day is just two weeks away, so it’s time to start thinking about everything you want to get up to throughout the day. As well as eating some delicious food, and getting drunk on Bucks Fizz, we’re sure you’re looking forward to some great TV specials. So, you’ll be pleased to know that the Christmas Day TV listings have been announced – we’re very excited!

Of course, the traditional programmes will be on, such as Doctor Who, and Christmas specials of all your favourite soaps. So, you can’t miss those!

Doctor Who will be aired at 5.45pm on BBC One.

As well as this, Eastenders will be on at the unusually late time of 9:30pm, treating you to an hour-long episode. Likewise, Coronation Street will be on at 8pm, and Emmerdale at 5:45pm.

Other specials that you might like are Call the Midwife (at 8pm on BBC One) and Mrs Brown’s Boys (10:30pm on BBC One).

However, if you’re looking for something a bit different don’t worry – you’re really being treated this year!

There’ll be a one-off last outing of The Great British Bake Off, starring all of the most memorable contestants from the past series, airing at 4.45pm on BBC One.

Plus, you can go back in time with Top of the Pops and enjoy some great music from the likes of Olly Murs and Craig David. Just tune in to BBC One at 1:50pm – probably while you’re tucking into your lunch!

But, in the excitement of all of this, you mustn’t forget to watch the Queen’s speech! This is an integral part of most people’s Christmas Days and will commence at 3pm on BBC One.

Don’t worry – there’s not long to wait now! You’ll be snuggled up on the sofa watching your favourite specials soon enough.
