Disney in 2015

Walt Disney have revealed their list of releases for 2015. Some of the movies are less known where as the majority of them are new versions of films that have made plenty of money for the animation giant over the years.

 

January: Strange Magic.

Strange Magic is a 3D computer – animation musical. The film is directed by Gary Rydstrom and written by him, David Berenbaum, and Irene Mecchi.

 

 

February: McFarland USA

McFarland Usa follows on from sports film Million Dollar Arm. Directed by Niki Caro and produced by Walt Disney Pictures.

 

 

March: Cinderella 

No dobut everyone reading this has seen at least one version of Cinderella. 

Disney’s new version stars an all star cast, comprising of Cate Blanchett, Richard Madden and Helena Bonham Carter. The film is scheduled to be released on March 13, 2015.

 

 

April: Monkey Kingdom 

Monkey Kingdom is a nature film following a new born monkey and its mother.

 

 

May: Avengers – Age of Ultron and Tomorrow Land (Disney)

Age of Ultron is the sequel of 2012s The Avengers. Like Avengers the film also features Iron Man, Thor, The Hulk, Captain America and others.

 

 

June – Inside Out 

Director Pete Docter’s next project is Inside Out. It is an upcoming 2015 American 3D computer – animated fantasy – comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios.

The film will be set in the head of a young girl, Riley Anderson, where five emotions, joy, anger, disgust, fear and sadness try to lead her through life.

 

 

July: Ant Man 

Ant Man I is an upcoming American superhero film. The film was directed by Peyton Reed with a screen play written by Adam McKay. The trailer is expected next month.

 

October: The Jungle Book

The new Jungle Book was directed by Jon Favreau and written by Justin Marks. It will be interesting to see just how this matches up to the original, which first hit the big screen back in 1967.

 

November: The Good Dinosaur 

The Good Dinosaur is another 3D computer – animated comedy. Peter Sohn is the director for the film.

 

 

December – Star wards: The Force Awakens 

Does this movie even need any introduction?

 

So that’s it, another action packed year in the world of Walt Disney.
