Doctor Foster – What To Expect From Final Episode

The final episode of Doctor Foster, Series 2, airs this Tuesday, and we can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next.
So, because we’re so involved in the drama, we have a few questions that we’re desperate to have answered. If you’re not all caught up yet, be warned – there will be some spoilers from previous episodes!
First and foremost…Has Gemma killed Simon?!
The last episode ended on a huge cliffhanger, with Gemma driving her car, at full speed, right towards Simon. Will she hit him? Will she swerve right at the last minute? Or, is this just her imagination we’re seeing?
Will Simon seek revenge?
Let’s be honest, this one is pretty likely. Gemma has destroyed Simon’s life – he’s lost his wife, his house, his car, and potentially even his son. But, what will he do next? He’s already grabbed Gemma’s phone, and though he claimed he was only looking up the hotel she’s staying in, we think it could be something a lot more devious. What’s next?
Will Kate and Gemma become allies?
Kate and Gemma have never had the closest relationship, but things could be about to change. Gemma has given Kate the push she finally needs to leave, but could Kate return to help Gemma destroy Simon once and for all?
Will Simon and Gemma get back together?
This would definitely be a bad idea, but there’s certainly a possibility that this dysfunctional couple could actually end up back together. I mean, who else would want them?!
Will there be a third series?
This is the question on everyone’s lips. It seems that nothing more could possibly happen in this complicated love story, but we’re just desperate for another series. Will there be one, or could this be the last we ever see of Doctor Foster?!
