Her own fans may be happy, but anyone who wanted the Stone Roses, Prince or Fleetwood Mac will be disappointed.
It’s official: Dolly Parton is coming to Glastonbury. On Wednesday, festival organiser Emily Eavis confirmed that ‘one of the greatest female stars’ herself would be playing the famous ‘legend slot’, on the festival’s Sunday afternoon, which was last year filled by Parton’s Country contemporary Kenny Rogers.
Parton will perform alongside other stars who have allowed their bookings to become public, such as Arcade Fire and Lily Allen.
Stay tuned: more names will be revealed in the spring.
