EastEnders Actor is Smoked

EastEnders actor Ricky Norwood has been questioned by BBC bosses after a video emerged online of him smoking cannabis. The meeting took place on Tuesday to determine Norwood’s future on the show.

Ricky, who plays Arthur “Fatboy” Chubb, was captured on an eight minute long video which was filmed on Skype. Reports have said it was recorded by a woman that Ricky had met online. Norwood was said to be naked throughout the entire video.

A spokesperson for Norwood revealed yesterday “Ricky Norwood has been suspended from the show for a period of two months with immediate effect. In addition Ricky would like to apologise to EastEnders’ viewers for any offence caused and for bringing the show into disrepute”. It comes as a shock to fans as “Fatboy” is a well-loved character on prime-time TV and is also seen as a role model.

Let’s hope Ricky can keep a low profile from now on.
