Even Bill Gates Admits It

Whether he says the words or not, Bill Gates now uses an Android-powered phone, basically admitting the Windows phone probably isn’t very good.

Microsoft’s Windows-powered phones had a rather minimal impact on the smartphone market, given its weird interface, lack of apps and awful camera. The current smartphone market is basically dominated by Google’s Android operating system. From Samsung to LG, most phones have adopted the OS.

But, obviously, Bill Gates probably has every Windows owned app on that bad boy that exists.

The Windows phone accounted for less than 1% of smartphone sales in 2016. So far this year, there has been no big release when it comes to the smartphone front for Microsoft, but I think it’s fair to say, don’t hold your breath.

Recently, the iPhone 8 was released, but to everyone’s surprise, the hype behind the phone was considerably smaller than previous iterations. Only 30 people turned up at the Regent Centre in London, with this being the smallest iPhone release so far.

Or maybe people are waiting for the £999 iPhone X.

Who knows?
