The Daily Mail’s Adam Shergold praised Boga and DaSilva after their performance in the first half of Monday’s final,
” Two Chelsea players, for me, have caught the eye in this first-half. The first is Jeremie Boga, their French playmaker who missed the first leg through illness. He’s certainly making up for it tonight and, dare I say it, is showing a few flashes of Eden Hazard-esque play. A few minutes ago, he spun around Kean Bryan 30 yards from his own goal and set off on a barnstorming run through the middle. The other is the left-back Jay Dasilva, who is about as far from a left-back tonight as it’s possible to be. He used to play as a winger and it’s easy to see why. He’s continually making darts past the forwards Izzy Brown and Dominic Solanke. He just can’t be restrained.”
