After the whole L’Oreal debacle, Munroe Bergdorf has been hired by Illamasqua, a makeup and modelling company.

In response to the model being dropped by L’Oreal, the agency wrote on Twitter:

‘As a longstanding Illamasqua collaborator, we are angered to hear that Munroe Bergdorf has been dropped from the L’Oreal True Match Campaign. Illamasqua is a brand that stands proudly and unashamedly for diversity and equality.

We don’t stand or accept any form of racism, but we also believe Munroe’s comments have been edited out of context by a certain media title (who we won’t bother naming) without telling a true story.’

Good for them.

The next campaign that Illamasqua is running will be centred around gender fluidity, so Munroe fits the role perfectly. That and she’s one of the best-looking models out there. I mean, look:

Excited to announce that I’m one of the faces of the next @illamasqua campaign. #illamafia

Yeah, she did that.

It’s good to see her finding someone better to collaborate with, a company that will let Monroe be able to speak about issues that affect her and not be fired for them.
