After the international break last weekend the return to the premier league started with Arsenal vs. Tottenham. The heated derby ended 2-0 to the home side with Alexis Sanchez grabbing both goals and sending the gunners to 6th place.

Bournemouth had a dominant performance against Huddersfield collecting an easy three points by winning 4-0. Callum Wilson scored a hat trick for the side and Harry Arter also managed to get a goal putting the team at a solid 13th in the table. Burnley beat Swansea 2-0 with goals from Jack Cork and Ashley Barnes to keep up the good form.

Crystal Palace drew with Everton 2-2 McArthur and Wilfred Zaha were the scorers for Palace. Baines and Niasse scored for Everton. League leaders Manchester city beat Leicester 2-0 keeping a 12 game unbeaten record. Brazilian wonder kid Gabriel Jesus scored with Kevin De-Bruyne to keep the gap between their rivals Manchester United. Liverpool beat Southampton 3-0 with 2 goals from Mohammad Salah and Coutinho scored late to put the nail in the coffin at Anfield. Chelsea 0-4 beat West Brom at home. Eden Hazard scored 2 with Alvaro Morata and Marcos Alonso both on the score sheet.

Manchester United beat Newcastle 4-1 in front of 75,000 at Old Trafford. Dwight Gayle was the scorer for the Magpies. Martial, Chris Smalling, Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku all scored to get the three points for the Red Devils. Watford beat David Moyes’s new side West Ham 2-0. Will Hughes and Richardson scored for the home side sending Watford into 8th place. Brighton is still to play Stoke on Monday so stay tuned and let’s see who can come out on top.

As it stands Manchester City are in first on 34 points followed by Manchester United on 26 points. In third is Chelsea with 25 points. At the bottom is Crystal Palace with five points in 19th is Swansea with eight points and at the top of the relegation zone are West Ham with nine points.
