Frozen Becomes Highest Grossing Animated Film of All Time

The animated movie Frozen, has become the highest –grossing animated film ever. Frozen first topped the UK box office when it was released in December and has made over £644 million worldwide. This makes Frozen one of Disney’s best success stories, making millions within 4 months of cinema release.

Toy Story 3, released in 2010 is the previous highest-grossing animated film, racking in £639 million. Toy Story 3 and  Frozen both belong to Disney. Frozen also won two Oscars last month for best animated feature and best original song for ‘Let It Go’ which was sang by US singer Idina Menzel.

Now we are all waiting for the Finding Nemo sequel, but it might be a long wait as Finding Dory is being pushed back to 2016.
