From the outrageous meat dress to the octopus wig, it seems Lady Gaga (real name Stefani Germanotta) as always been a little bit of an odd-ball to say the least. But, with years of experience and success in the business, Gaga has spoken out about her turbulent times at the beginning of her career before providing inspiration to others just like her.

In an interview with The Times, the ‘Born This Way’ singer explained how the music business is full of ‘sharks’ and moved on to her ‘awful experiences with men in the studio’ as she was a young artist at the beginning of her career.

Gaga went on to add: “I didn’t feel like I was being cherished for my vocal talents but was seen more as someone to take advantage of.” When she was asked if she was sexually taken advantage of, the 28-year-old replied with: ”Yes. And I don’t have to elaborate, but when women who are in the business that are young read this article I hope [they realise] that you do not have to put up with that.”

The singer has never been well-known for her sensibility or being level-headed, but she went on to say that she hopes she can be an ‘inspiration’ to those who are talented enough as she believes ‘you can work hard and achieve your dreams’.

It seems to us that the Queen of crazy is not so crazy anymore. Fair play to you, Gaga.
