Gerrard heads to the US

Steven Gerrard is due to join LA Galaxy in July with an announcement expected to be made about the move today. Gerrard revealed last week he would leave Liverpool after 27 years at Anfield. The midfielder made his debut for the club back in 1998 and has since gone on to hold some extremely significant titles at the club; including the only Liverpool player to score in a UEFA cup final, an FA Cup final and Champions League decider as well as League cup final.

The 34 year old ‘Scouse’ skipper has been described as the perfect fit for LA Galaxy but will be impossible to replace at Liverpool. With the legend leaving Anfield, we take look back over some of his most memorable moments for the Merseyside team.
