The Duke and Duchess of Sussex – or Harry and Meghan as they like to be called these days – have announced that they are expecting their second baby.
In a heart warming Valentine’s Day announcement, a spokesperson for the royals said: “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”
After Meghan told of her miscarriage experience in an article for the New York Times last year, there has been an increasingly open discussion about the issue and pregnant women’s mental health. Meghan wrote of her miscarriage last summer: “I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second.”
Today’s news comes just days after the Duchess won a privacy case against Associated Newspapers Limited over an article published about a personal letter to her father before her wedding to Prince Harry.
