Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom is the next movie in the Jurassic series following on from 2015’s Jurassic World. There has been very little announced about the movie, other than the title has more of a horror(?) theme than the last few. We now have some first footage showing Chris Pratt getting familiar with what looks like a baby Blue. Blue was the raptor who Pratt’s character bonded with at the end of the first movie.

Bryce Dallas Howard will also make a return, along with Jeff Goldblum’s character Dr Ian Malcom, who was in the original movie.
Jurassic World was a massive commercial success, making $1.6 billion at the global box office. It was a pretty good movie by all accounts too, once you get past the fact it’s essentially the same plot as the first one. It was the first new entry in the series since 2001’s Jurassic Park III. There is also an upcoming game next year, which will let players create their own park. Looks kind of fun.
That wasn’t so great.
Fallen Kingdom is due out next year and will be directed by J.A. Bayona, who directed the previous film and The Orphanage.
