Kate Loves a Loom

It seems the latest craze that has completely enveloped the country’s young children has been so bang on trend its spread as far as the royal family.

If you haven’t guessed already, we’re talking about the infamous loom bands. Yes, those tiny little plastic bands that come in endless colour varieties and are quite possibly the most addictive activity to date. You can simply weave the bands on your fingers and after just a few minutes, you have your own bracelet in any colour you like.

But it seems that the fashion icon herself, Kate Middleton, has picked up the trend and was seen sporting one on a public outing with her husband who was also showing them off while meeting admirers.

Many schools have banned the bracelets after claiming they were an ‘unwanted accessory’ and ‘do not comply with school rules’.

Whatever the next craze is amongst children, it’s almost certain that it won’t live up to the loom band era.
