We Marmite have a problem.
See what I did there?
As many may not know, the envelope brand for products like Marmite, Hellmann’s and PG Tips is a company called Unilever. Very recently, Tesco has been in dispute with the company, due to the supplier trying to increase prices now that the pound has hit its biggest low since 1985. Unilever has seen fit to increase the price as the pound plummets.
But we aren’t going to go into the ups and downs of whether this is a Brexit battle or just a company tiff. We’re going to look to the people, for their say.
The EU referendum is being re-run in the comments on Unilever's Facebook page. pic.twitter.com/5ZBGZJrpMp

If Cameron had warned us that we might lose our Marmite Project Fear might just have worked. Brexit – you either love it or hate it pic.twitter.com/wGf5Cab0Tm

Naughty @Unilever – Marmite is 100% resourced/produced in the U.K. Also notice you didn't lower price when £1:$2… #Marmitegate

There's not much I like about Tesco but their stance against the fat cat opportunists at Unilever is praiseworthy #Marmitegate #Brexit
