Here at beep we are all about encouraging young people to stand up for what they believe in and let their voices be heard. Climate change has been a long time topic here on the site and as we all know, this issue isn’t going away in our lifetimes.

From major companies choosing to ignore the harsh realities of the strain on the environment and just how we can help do our bit, we can’t stress enough how important this is to our generation and just how passionate we are about this ongoing fight.

To try and tackle this issue head-on, TV giant Sky has teamed up with Adobe to allow young people between the ages of 8-18 the opportunity to be climate-change reporters. By producing their own news segment of up to two minutes long, not only are students tackling a vital area of concern, but they are also building on their digital and creative skills.

More information on the program can be found here. Winners will see their segment featured on SkyNews, so it is definitely something we here at Beep think is worthwhile.
