Recent events in Manchester have shocked the nation, with many devastating effects. Now, in support of the victims of the attack, Ariana Grande and other high-profile pop stars are joining together to raise funds for those affected.

On Sunday 4 June, Ariana Grande will be headlining a benefit concert in Manchester, with proceeds being donated to the ‘We Heart Manchester Emergency Fund’.

A number of star-studded celebrities have been confirmed for the event, including Justin Bieber, Niall Horan, and Coldplay.

In a Twitter post, Ariana addresses her reasons for headlining the event, writing:

“I don’t want to go the rest of the year without being able to see and hold and uplift my fans, the same way they continue to uplift me.

“Our response to this violence must be to come closer together, to help each other, to love more, to sing louder and to live more kindly and generously than we did before.

“I’ll be returning to the incredibly brave city of Manchester to spend time with my fans and to have a benefit concert in honour of and to raise money for the victims and their families.”

If you want tickets to the event, they go on sale Thursday 1 June at 10am, via Ticketmaster.
