Marvel Comics Reveal Thor is to become a Woman

Marvel Comics have revealed that comic superhero, Thor, is to become a woman. The comic book character first appeared in Marvel Comics back in 1962 and is based on the Norse hammer-wielding God.

The publisher hopes the female Thor will attract new readers and appeal more to females. Marvel believe woman have been ignored in comics and hopefully creating a female Thor will make females more interested in reading comics. Although some girls do like Marvel Comics comics mainly appeal more to the fellas.
