You know, uni can be challenging, what with having to attend around one lecture per term, and the mountains of work that need to be put in. It could leave anyone craving home and family.

Well, one mother from New York decided to do it the other way around.

Mckenna Pilling’s mother, ‘Momma Pilling’, headed out to Utah State University for an impromptu visit. But there was a slight hiccup.

Ummm… did we read that right?

oh dear

Oh bugger.

After a good laugh about the ordeal – between mother and daughter, but also between over 15,000 people on Twitter – Momma Pilling and McKenna had a wonderful day.

But the real question should be:

How did she get into a stranger’s dorm?
