We’d all do it, let’s not beat around the bush.

It’s no secret that the rail fares in Britain are without a doubt borderline extortionate. I remember having to go to Berwick for the day and ending up paying £25 for a return. Doesn’t sound like a lot, however 15-year-old Alex was incredibly cross.

And that was just to Berwick. So you can imagine the prices for getting to London. Well, one local bloke decided to cheat the system a bit, by getting a flight to Spain and flying back to London.

Joe Furness, 21, posted a picture to Instagram, with a caption, detailing the math behind his decision:

Pretty clever. Especially the bit that involves cocktails.

He told LadBible:

“It was pretty surreal, having just arrived from the North of England. There were hundreds of Spanish horse riders on the beach – I grabbed a Sex on the Beach cocktail from the bar and spend the rest of the time relaxing in the sun.”

You’re doing us all proud.
