Wow, November already?

Look, considering there are only one or two movies coming out this month worth mentioning, we’re going to pad the article a bit with some other stuff.

Movies first though, but while the pickings may be slim, hopefully, this should help with the weight of things.

While the newest Thor may have dropped a bit early in the UK, as most Marvel movies do, we’re going to give it a mention here seeing as though we missed it on last month’s list. This will be released on today. It will star the regular characters, Thor, Hulk and Loki, battling it out on an alien planet for survival.

Next up, we’re looking at something a bit less weighty. Paddington which hit theatres in 2015, was an oddly lovable hit. Critics and fans adored the wit and humour of the film, so much so that they made a sequel. Might be worth a look. Paddington 2 stars Hugh Grant, Ben Whishaw, Hugh Bonneville and Brendan Gleeson and will be out on the 10th of this month.

Finally, on the movie side of things, we have the big splotch on the calendar. DC’s Justice League will hit the big screens worldwide on the 17th November. Starring Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller as the other iconic hero team, it’s anyone’s guess if it’ll be any good. Hopefully, it’ll keep things simple, no big old plot holes and the action will be better paced than BvS.

While that maybe it for movies, we have a few games to rattle off too, how could we not mention some of these?

One of the two big boy games that are coming out this month must be Call of Duty: WWII. The beta was bloody terrible, so I probably won’t be picking the thing up. The game goes back to a ‘boots on the ground’ approach, according to the developers, getting away from the futuristic style literally every game in the series was going for in the last 5 years. Call of Duty: WWII releases tomorrow, on the 3rd November.

Next up we have Nioh, a Dark Souls esc game, which mixes combat stances, a whole heap of weapons and a cool demon-esc aesthetic. You’ll spend your time collecting gold, demon souls, swords, spears, bows, armour and various other stuff to make your foray into a demon-infested Japan a bit less painless. Look for it on Steam on 7th November.

Finally, we have the second big boy game, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017). Not going to lie, despite the loot boxes, I’m quite excited about this one. The beta was fun, fixing all the problems that the first game had. Weapons felt good and gunplay is far superior. Definitely worth picking up, or waiting until the new movie is out where there is bound to be a sale.

Until next month, that’s all we got.

See you in December.

When I’ll be 21.

What am I doing with my life?
